TYPICAL FEATURES

This picturesque town lies at the entrance of the Tauferer - Ahr - Valley, at a height of 835m. Surrounded by the three thousand metre giants of the Zillertaleralpen on one side and by the unique rock formations of the Dolomites on the other.

The medieval town centre with its lovely rows of houses, the town (still partly existing) walls with their original gates demonstrates the importance this alpine town (now home to about 12.000 residents) enjoyed.

A stroll through the town shows the confluence of the Italian and the Austrain cultures.

We are presenting you with traditional and typical products and giving you some (but not all) our secret tips!!
